The description says that the AI plays at it's peak on hard difficulty.On the other two higher difficulties (Expert and Impossible)it plays the same but you get handicapped a lot more on resources.Difference is that you can get a higher score when you finish a game on the higher difficulties. #1.

The sound: Everywhere you go, there is something humming, crackling, laughing, quacking (I really hate the ducks of HOMM4), or making some sort of noise. Almost every item on the world map makes some kind of obnoxious sound on a short loop. Mind, this is a nitpick and you can just turn off/down such sounds.
