🌪️ Can You Cure Zombie Villagers
I think the difficulty matters, like if it’s hard mode then they will 100% always be zombified but on normal is I believe 50-75% chance to be zombified. quatre185. • 3 yr. ago. On normal there's a 50% chance of the villager dying from zombie attack, so I'd have a bunch of spares or change to hard. [deleted]
You should be able to cure a zombie piglin with a weakness potion and a golden carrot (since pigs are bred with carrots). Just like in the process to cure a zombie villager, the zombie piglin produces red particles and begins to shiver, however, being a neutral mob--- the zombie piglin turns into an aggressive state (like a sick animal).
When you cure a villager you get a discount on their trades. This discount can be stacked by curing it again and again until the price reaches 1 emerald. What i want to know is, if another player cures it, do i keep my discount after i have cured it?
I constructed a villager trading hall (You can see exactly which one here: ) and have run into an issue when the villagers are cured of being a zombie. When the villagers finish their curing process, they revert briefly to a standard jobless villager, then recognize the workbench in front of them, regain their profession, and *lose* their trades.
Since then I've walled off the village and lit the place up with torches. I've cured 2 more zombie villagers bringing the total up to 3 villagers. I've built a bunch of houses, I think there are 25+ doors now. But my villagers haven't bred at all. So I'm wondering if cured zombie villagers can breed, just like naturally spawning villagers.
If you convert a villager into a zombie villager you get discounts on their trades, and by converting a villager more than one time you get even lower prices. This discounts will remain forever. Keep in mind that if you want to convert and cure villager you need to be in hard mode to have a 100% of success: in normal difficult is 50/50 between
using an enchanted golden apple to cure zombie villagers. [Mobs] Villagers cured with an enchanted golden apple should make their trades as low as possible, without ever raising them again. Hitting one would also not make them change their prices, because they regenerate any damage taken because of the enchanted golden apple. Archived post.

How do you cure a zombie villager? To cure a zombie villager, you need to throw a Splash Potion of Weakness at it and then feed it a Golden Apple.
To u/pomeranian88, yes, they do stack, do however note that the effect from Hero of The Villge will decay over time. Curing zombie villagers is by far the best way to get great discounts from villagers since it is a permanent effect unlike any other method of getting discounts. It is a bit timeconsuming though to set up/do but once you have
Second, villagers are powerful. Crazy powerful. Even without the curing process, they are access to a number of important and moderately expensive items. The only way for this to not be the case would be to run a 1.13 server or a modded one. Finally, Paper says it's a bug they fixed, but Mojang says that the vanilla functionality is as intended.
Right now, you can only do that by spawning in villager eggs using mod or cheat commands. With this, you will be able to find a populated village, wait until two villagers get infected, kite them to their new home as zombies, and then cure them. They'll settle down to life in their new home, and start breeding.
Another Idea is evey time you cure a Zombie Piglin the is a chance to spon a Piglin Brute but is Friendly to you, and have the best trades it the entire game. To go the extra mile the Piglin Brute's that you reclaim can follow you and fight for you. And finnaly any Piglins that have been reclaimed now can go into the overworld freely, and same
